Tiong Bahru Plaza offers a unique urban experience, being part of the city downtown area. The mall is constantly re-inventing itself to present new and exciting offerings to its shoppers. 

Spread over 7 retail floors, its lettable area of 190,000 square feet houses 165 shops and 3 floors of basement car park. 

Tiong Bahru Plaza attracts a diverse crowd - office workers from Central Plaza, local and expatriate residents from nearby condominiums and public housing in the Tiong Bahru, Redhill and River Valley areas, and local and foreign students from public and commercial schools in the vicinity. 

The mall was the first in the current portfolio of malls to be acquired by the Asian Retail Mall Fund in February 2002. The initial revamp took place in 2003. In the second revamp in 2008, the basement level was expanded to provide a wider range of shops and services. On Level 1, modern and chic dining concepts and new landscaping features were added in the forecourt at the mall entrance and mall frontage along Tiong Bahru Road. 

Tiong Bahru Plaza has continued to see a steady growth of shopper traffic over the years, despite increasing competition among newer and larger shopping malls. Over the years, Tiong Bahru Plaza, aptly described as ‘the Mall for Every Generation’, has evolved to better cater to the changing needs of its shoppers and for the next generation.
