This research was led by YBhg Professor Dato Dr Hassan Yaacob, who is an academician, a scientist and an entrepreneur. The initial research was conducted in the Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya. The research team pursued research and development at Universities in Toyama & Fukuoka Japan from 1995 to 1996.
