AMORE creates handmade natural Gelato avoiding additives and preservatives common to many industrial “ice cream” brands on the market today.
Our roots go back to 1960 when our cofounder, Chef Costanzo opened a family gelato shop in an idyllic seaside village close to the acclaimed “Cinque terre” villages in Italy. They had a simple dream - to make people happy by serving the best gelato available with totally natural ingredients. And even at that time, the motto was: never compromise on quality!
It has taken us over 7 years to refine our franchise model so that even a person with no background or experience in the culinary arts can not only flourish into a budding entrepreneur but also a bona fide gelato chef. To achieve this feat we have developed, the “Maestro” System. Maestro is a special production methodology that allows our franchise partners to produce fresh gelato without any prior experience. This simple, yet very important process differentiates Amore Gelato from other gelato brands.
