The Company is a culmination of of the vision of its founder and CEO, Ms. Viring C. Lee. From its humble beginning, Ms. Lee steered the company to its present stable position. It started as a hobby of this housewife with two kids. In 1991, when the Philippines was starting to get back from the ruins of its economic slump, Mt. Pinatubo eruption in particular, Ms. Lee founded the New Butterworld Bakeshop. together with her siblings. Starting its operation in her house, the Company continued to grow as it expanded outside of Tarlac. In March 1993, the Company inaugurated its new building that was financed from own operation in order to increase production capacity.
Originally, the products were distributed only in the locality of Tarlac. But encourage with the favorable customer acceptance of its products, the company expanded its distribution channels to neighboring provinces and populated cities. At present, practically the whole of Luzon region is being served through its sales agents, branch outlet, franchising and distributorship.
