1989, the company was restructured and formed into a private limited company named May Kee Brothers Sdn. Bhd.
In view of the changing environment of the retailing market, company decided to involve in footwear sector to look for more business opportunities. Therefore, we set up a new compnay named May Kee Brothers (Shoe) Sdn. Bhd. in 1994 to enhance our power in footwear market. It is a turning point of the company and also as a first step towards the diversification strategy for the company.
In year 1995, as a part of diversification strategy, another subsidiary company-MK, being established to involve in HALAL food & beverage business. The company mission is to provide a variety locla famous HALAL food to consumer.
Nowadays, May Kee Brothers Sdn. Bhd. or MK has developed its recognition in Malaysia especially in south area. Among those brands, MODANI as company 's in-house brand and the series product were getting enthusiastic support, neither in quality aspect nor pricing, MODANI targeted juvenile and middle annual yield family as major customer and the support of public makes encouragement to company to produce better quality merchandise in future.
Now, May Kee Brothers Sdn. Bhd. (MIKI) is a well knows chain-retailing company in south Johor with 15 branches for the time being and it expected to be expended to 20 branches during this couple of years.
Besides that, we had expended our business to Indonesia with set uo two branches at there. Those facts show that, May Kee Brothers Sdn. Bhd. have such power and boldness to go grow and expend.
