Cathay Cineleisure Orchard (Chinese: 国泰乌节电影娱乐城) is an urban mall located at 8 Grange Road, Singapore. The building is managed by Cathay Organisation Holdings Limited, under its subsidiary company of Cathay Cineleisure International. Cathay Cineleisure opened in 1997 after the old Orchard Cinema building was torn down in 1994.
This Youth Lifestyle mall has a mix of food, fashion and leisure tenants which include a Koufu Food Court in the basement, Burger King, KFC, MOS Burger, quick bites from Artease Cafe, Frolick, Best Fries Forever and a section of youth-themed shops, eateries and hair salon on the second floor known as L2. The centre has cafes and bistros in the building, and a wide range of food and beverage outlets. It also houses a karaoke lounge on Level 8 and the largest e-gaming hub on Orchard Road, 2MAX on Level 9. Last but not least, Cathay Cineplex Orchard operates fifteen movie halls at Cathay Cineleisure Orchard, with six on the fourth floor, six on the sixth and three on the ninth.
Cathay Cineleisure International developed a unique “Cineleisure” brand of a leisure, lifestyle and retail concept offering patrons and visitors an array of wholesome family entertainment options.
Beyond tailoring the “Cineleisure” branding to a specific building owners’ needs and requirements, the company’s other areas of interests include marketing retail space to a suitable mix of tenants, administering leases, organising promotional events and undertaking routine maintenance.
