iFresh in China is a global event that offers producers, distributors, service providers and dealers of fruits and vegetables the opportunity to make contacts. They come from all over the world, for instance there are participants from Thailand, New Zeeland, America, Australia, Peru, India, Egypt, Germany, South Africa, Malaysia, the Philippines, China, etc.

Moreover, technology providers and service providers can present their latest technologies and methods. The trade faire has room for 350 exhibitors and more than 10,000 specialist visitors. At the same time two additional important events take place. On the one hand there is the Reverse Purchase Meeting, during which 300 domestic purchasers get the opportunity to come together at a fixed negotiating table.

On the other hand we have the China Fruit Marketing Congress. This congress, which consists of importers, big hypermarket chains, dealers, agents, exporters and producers of fruits and vegetables, deals with current topics like a prognosis for fruit growing and an analysis for market trends. The objective of the iFresh in Shanghai is, among other things, to create a common vision for future development trends on the Asian fruit and vegetable market, by bringing experts from all over the world together.
