2 to 4 weeks of initial training at AAR’s HQ and Company owned stores in the UAE for 3 to 4 individuals of the Sub Franchisee’s staff. Travel, accommodation and subsistence to be paid by the Sub Franchisee.
Final site selection to be approved by AAAR’s site selection team.
1-week onsite pre-launch training and store set-up provided by AAR. Pre-launch training includes Senior Retail Manager in KSA for support for the first Sub Franchised Laura Ashley location. Travel, accommodation and subsistence to be paid by the Sub Franchisee in connection with such onsite pre-launch training. All visa formalities will be arranged by the Sub Franchisee.
Merchandise planning and first order for each store.
Assistance with lists and specifications of equipment, furniture, fixtures and fittings.
Assistance with supply and customization of software programs such as POS, accounting, reporting and others. Costs associated with such programs are in addition to any development or Sub Franchise fees.
Assistance and guidance in relation to launch marketing program and customized marketing plan, design and artwork.
Initial layout drawings
Display furniture for Home stores will be manufactured in Dubai. Display furniture for Fashion stores will be manufactured in Europe. Sub Franchisee will be responsible for cost of manufacture & shipping.
ON-GOING SUPPORT :
On-going provision of management, operational, technical advice and guidance through telephone or electronic communication, video conferencing.
Advice and guidance in relation to annual marketing programs and local store marketing.
Periodical review of financial auditing and production of updated business plans.
On-going presence of franchisee on Company’s regional website.
Ongoing supply of proprietary products and sales aids at Sub Franchisee expense.
Ongoing update of operations manual as and when deemed necessary.
Ongoing support in development of promotions and marketing ideas.
Support in relation to piloting Sub Franchisees’ ideas on new products and services in the Company-owned stores.
Support in relation to the design of e-media and newsletters.
Ongoing access to marketing and point of sale materials library.
