Manchu WOK has been delivering fast fresh Chinese cuisine for over 35 years. With over thirty years of success developing our stores primarily in North America Manchu WOK is now seeking partners to help our strategic growth throughout the world.

Manchu WOK currently has 120+ stores throughout North America and the world. We are wholly owned by MTY Group based in Canada since 2014. MTY Group is among the foremost quick service companies in North America which operates and fully owns 32 food banners. We are today the largest Chinese QSR franchisor in the world. 

Our stores feature a delicious assortment of Chinese fare, from Szechuan to Cantonese. We expertly utilize one the oldest and one of the best cooking elements in the world - the wok - to deliver fresh, delicious, Chinese food to our loyal customers. We pride ourselves on using the finest ingredients: the freshest vegetables and the highest quality proteins, grains, and noodles. 

The beauty of the business model is that the high-quality food can be served very quickly in a busy setting. This allows maximum profitability for the store owners.

Manchu WOK is currently seeking developers that have the following traits :
  • A shared passion for our iconic brand and a strong desire to make us the category leader in a specific region

  • Strong business background preferably in food service or retail
  • A business infrastructure that can support entering a market with scale
  • The ability to commit to a minimum of ten (10) units developed according to a mutually agreeable schedule.
Training and Support

We offer extensive training. Part of the training will be conducted at our corporate headquarters in Toronto. This will feature classroom study as well as hands-on training at our patented “Manchu WOK University”. There will be additional training held with staff during the pre-opening and grand opening on-site at the store.

With over 120 stores and over thirty-five years of experience, Manchu WOK is a franchisor focused on the most comprehensive training and the highest standards as a company.
