In 1905, Haji Murad Ali started his humble kabab-parantha shop on Gol Darwaza Street, in the middle of old Lucknow’s busiest marketplace, the Chowk area.
Neither Haji Murad Ali nor his son Haji Rais Ahmad cared to move out of the walled city. The corner at the junction of Gol Darwaza street and Akbari Gate remained synonymous with Tunday’s kababs for a good 90 years.
Maintaining the original taste for as long as 90 years (approx.) Mohammad Usman and Mohammad Rizwan persuaded his father Haji Rais Ahmad to move out and start a parallel outlet in Aminabad in 1996, known as The Grandsons of Tunday Kababi. Tunday Kababi is a corporate entity now with name and style Tunday Kababi Private Limited.
Mohammad Usman and Mohammad Rizwan are the pillars of Tunday Kababi who are taking Tunday Kababi to new heights. ONLY they have the AUTHORITY AND RIGHTS for giving Tunday Kababi Franchise.
