About the Designer :
Well known as the first menswear designer in India, Krishna Mehta is a recipient of several awards and accolades including the Fabled Peacock Award from the Government of Gujarat in 2001, the CMAI Award for The Best Menswear Designer in 2004 and the Times of India Award in recognition of usage of natural and khadi fabrics in 2005. Krishna Mehta has also set up a block printing unit PALAK (Palanpur Hastkala Pvt Ltd) in Gujarat to provide employment to the differently abled, men and women.
Taking the Franchising Route :
To promote their craftsmanship and reach out to a wider audience, Krishna Mehta management is looking to penetrate deeper into niche markets. For this, the company aims to appoint franchisees across India.
The franchisor will provide comprehensive guidance and support to its franchisees, right from day one to throughout their agreement, ensuring mutual growth and profitability.
Set Up: The franchisor will assist in choosing the ideal location, layout plan, architectural design and complete set up of the store.
Training: In-depth training of staff, support and material covering quality checks, accounting, reporting, point of sales and customer service standards would be provided.
Inventory: The franchisor will play a major role in stock supply, control checks on goods delivery, replenishment ordering and product range maintenance. All the products would be supplied by the franchisor on outright basis.
Operations Manual: The franchisor will provide an Operations Manual to maintain uniformity and run the franchised set up as per company guidelines.
Advertising & Promotions: The franchisor will organize events specific to marketing/branding of Krishna Mehta stores, including participation in expos, sponsoring events, tie ups with publications and much more.
