Creating trendy bag designs started as a hobby for Mrs. Melanie Ong. Just like the many success stories about business starting out as a diversions or leisure pursuits, Melanie turned herself from a hobbyist into a full-pledged entrepreneur – a designer, manufacturer, and wholesaler rolled into one. With the help of her sisters, Jean and her mother’s antiquated Singer, she established Kaila bags and accessories in the garage of their home. Soon after, her fledging wholesale business grew and eventually took over the entire house.
Kaila bags and accessories has become known for its use of bright, imaginative, exuberant fabrics and leathers. Just recently, Kaila has added footwears and trendy apparel to its product line.
