There is one thing that Filipinos are known for; it is their love for festivities. It is a part and bundle of Filipino culture. And one undoubtedly symbols of this is our lechon. A Filipino gathering is not as grand without the centerpiece lechon. It is also because of these festivities why a young Cebuano entrepreneur, Mr. Lorenz Florendo conceptualized Tatang’s Extra Crispy Boneless Lechon last August of 2012.
Its first branch officially launched last October 2012 in the Buglasan Festival in Dumaguete City. Tatang’s has been , very successful in the festival and later on opened a branch on Hibbard Ave near Silliman University.
In December of 2012, Tatang’s finally came back home to Cebu. The branch is located in AS Fortuna and sells approximately 900 kilos a month of boneless lechon. In June of 2013 their first franchise opened in Davao which is located at Veloso Street, Barangay Obrero.
