Summer Hartshorn Vasilas worked for several salons in Minneapolis and Denver throughout the late 1990s and into the next decade. As Summer refined her waxing skills and became more passionate about waxing, she had a dream of someday opening a studio exclusively dedicated to waxing. Taking this idea to Marilyn Hartshorn, Robin Schoh, and Alex Jimenez, Waxing the City was created to solely provide facial and body waxing—the first studio of its kind in Colorado. The four founders are still actively involved today as Waxing the City continues to expand.

Waxing the City® offers facial and body waxing services for brows, lips, arms, legs, the bikini area, and more! Plus, we offer a full line of services for both women and men. That’s equal opportunity waxing!
Whether you’re a newbie or a veteran, or even a bit shy, our Cerologist™ technicians will make your waxing experience a positive one by providing outstanding Cerology® services in a professional and comforting environment.
