We can offer you no guarantees as the success of each franchise will depend on a number of variables, not least the amount of effort you put in, however we are working towards a target that all of our franchisees will recover their full investment (including any borrowings) within 2 to 3 years.
Bob and Thelma Beattie purchased Roo’s Leap in 2000, which was just “ticking over”. They felt it could do a lot more and set about creating something quite special. They adapted the décor; they enhanced the menu and retrained the staff to provide a professional service in a friendly and relaxed way. The result was that the restaurant massively increased turnover and profit. It now serves an average of over 2000 customers a week and has a turnover in excess of £1M.
Our Burgers are made from prime Scottish beef… nothing added. Steaks are pure Aberdeen Angus and hung for 30 days for the best texture and flavour. Fish is served within a day of delivery, fresh from the market. Even our coleslaw is prepared by hand from market-fresh veggies.
Whilst experience in hospitality or catering management would be an obvious advantage, you don’t need to be an expert in cooking or even to have owned or managed a restaurant before… we provide you and your staff with all the initial training you require. You do however have to have a passion for great food and service and the ability to manage a business. We have time-tested and proven systems that help you every step of the way. As long as you qualify, you already have the necessary skills to be a success – we just give you the framework and systems to apply.
Our support starts the day you decide to join us, and pay your franchise fee. We will assist you with everything from finding and acquiring the right location, the fit out and finding and hiring the right staff. We continue to support you right up to your restaurant opening, during the launch and ongoing support continues post launch, making sure that everything goes as smoothly as possible.
We’ll never sacrifice quality for profit. We know that by buying high quality ingredients and yet offering our meals at reasonable prices you’ll keep coming back for more!
