American Concrete Institute is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1904. The acronym of the organization is ACI. It is one of the leading authorities on concrete technology of the world. James K. Wight is the President of ACI. It works in advancing the concrete knowledge and developing it. It is a forum for the discussion of all matters that are related to concrete and offers the solutions related to any queries or problems regarding concrete materials or fields.
It publishes various publications and also organizes different programs to provide detailed information to the professionals and other people who are related with the field or aspires to be in the field. It will organize the ACI Fall 2012 Convention in October in Toronto where key industry leaders will be present to share their expertise and ideas with other professionals from around the globe.
