The National Association for College Admission Counseling is one of the prestigious and recognized organizations that came into existence in 1937. The organization consists of more than 13,000 professionals from around the world dedicated to serving students as they make choices about pursuing postsecondary education. The organization believes in fostering ethical and social responsibility among those involved in the transition process. The organization is governed by an Assembly of delegates elected by voting members in NACAC state and regional affiliates and by an elected Board of Directors. Moreover, they are heading towards valuing and promoting innovations in various different sectors.
