The Ambattur Industrial Estate Manufacturers' Association (AIEMA) is an Association of the units set up in the SIDCO Industrial Estate, Ambattur, Chennai 58 /Chennai-98. It was formed in 1963 to cater to the needs of the micro, medium and small scale enterprises of the Ambattur Industrial Estate.

 

The Ambattur Industrial Estate is one of the oldest and well maintained industrial estates in India. More than 2000 manufacturing units are functioning in the estate manufacturing and offering a wide range of products and services, auto components, industrial machinery, electrical machinery, machine tools, accessories, welding, moulds & dies, CNC, leather and garments, IT related services.

 

AIEMA is the main representative body of the units in the Estate and liaises with Government institutions, Banks, Industry Associations/Chambers.
