| India Trade Promotion Organization headed by Chairman and Managing Director, Dr Subas Pani is a premier trade promotion agency of the Indian Government. In 1992, the Trade Fair Authority of India and the Trade Development Authority were merged to form the Indian Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) and since then it has been working extensively toward promoting bilateral trade.
Few of ITPO's landmark events that have been running successfully over the years include IITF, Aahar, Prakash, International Leather Goods Fair and many more. ITPO also has bilateral agreements with agencies like (CCIFI), (HKTDC), (JETRO) etc. The organization has taken Indian products and technologies to International platforms. Along with its head office in New Delhi, regional trade promotion centers have also been set up in Chennai and Bangalore.
