How does the system work?
Food and service quality are key Travelkhana’s USPs, and fundamental to deliver customer delight. Travelkhana performs thorough checks on prospective Partner Vendors for food quality, hygiene, packaging, delivery and service parameters. The prospective Partner Vendor provides us with the necessary information (menus, rates, etc). Once the prospective Partner Vendor is approved and uploaded on the platform.
We steps in and promotes the service to the travellers on trains stopping at the station where the Partner Vendor is located. The orders collected are routed to the Partner Vendor, who in turn prepares and delivers the food as required. All of this is done using a fully computerized and automated booking and delivery system that synchronizes food preparation and delivery with train arrival timing, and issues reminders via SMS and IVR to all parties in the workflow.
